Julie McGough is Adjunct Professor of Flute at Washington and Jefferson College.  Mrs. McGough also maintains a private flute studio in Pittsburgh, PA (South Hills).  Julie received formal pedagogy training from Dr. Carol Ann Aicher at the Manhattan School of Music.  Along with this training, she has managed her own studio for more than a decade, having taught beginner through collegiate level flutists. Her former students currently attend West Virginia, Chatham, and Duquesne Universities, and her studio is always well represented at honors festivals. She has participated in Educational Outreach programs with the Westmoreland Symphony, Haddonfield Symphony and the Youth Orchestra of the Americas.  Julie's passion for flute and music of all genres is evident to all who study with her or hear her perform.
